A Day of Prayer and Fasting

This Wednesday oral arguments will be presented before the United States Supreme Court defending Mississippi's 15-week anti-abortion bill. If this bill is upheld there will be fewer abortions in our state. A favorable ruling could open the door to a reconsideration of Roe v. Wade and its possible overturning. This would not mean the end of abortion in the United States but would return the issue to the states and greatly diminish this evil practice. Among Mississippi Baptists today is A Day of Prayer and Fasting as we ask God to move in the hearts of the jurists for a just and moral decision.

Join us as we attend the Mount Olive Presbyterian Church Christmas music program on Sunday evening, December 19, at 5:00 pm.

Our church will join with First United Methodist Church on December 24 at 4:00 pm for a Christmas Eve Communion Service at FUMC.  Come join us!

On December 25 FBC will hold our annual Christmas Day service at 10:00 am in our sanctuary.

Hurricane relief supplies of bottled water, non-perishable food items, and cleaning supplies may be placed in the downstairs foyer area. We will see they are delivered to the association.

Dr. Dennis Swanberg will be at the Associational Senior Adult Luncheon in the Family Life Center on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Lunch is $13.00 per person and will begin at 11:00 am. Please RSVP to 601-765-4689 by January 27.
